Reducing the workload

Bertmans is a modern restaurant, located in Rotterdam, and offers its guests a varied, changing and well praised menu. Niels Koomans is the proud owner of the successful restaurant. Niels tells us that the restaurant wanted to work together with a payroll partner to lessen the workload of the employee administration. ‘We were working on renewing contracts, setting up new contracts et cetera on a daily basis. And that really began to become a big task.’ On top of that, the organization wanted to spread out their risks. ‘You can choose to insure your employees yourself, which is not a cheap option, and you still have to do all the administration yourself. We are also noticing the growth of our contracts for temporary employees and with that comes more risk for illness and casualties.’

Competitive tariffs

And the other advantages became clear very quickly as well. ‘There are no more risks when you are working with a payroll company. And the people at the office are very helpful.’

Easy communication and less work

Niels describes that the direct communication lines JAM! has are very nice to work with. ‘We are very happy about the declining workload. Also over the past two years, during the corona crisis, it was very nice to know JAM! took care of the NOW and everything.’ The collaboration with JAM! allows Niels to focus on the entrepreneurship and risks to be taken out of hands by the payroll partner.
